On Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders honored Juliana Urtubey from Kermit R. Booker Sr. Elementary School in Las Vegas, who was recently named the 2021 National Teacher of the Year.
The Raiders’ headquarters in Henderson has been completed for almost a year, but COVID-19 restrictions have kept everyone except essential employees out of most of the facility.
What goes up must come down, and on Tuesday scaffolding around the $2 billion, 65,000-seat stadium was being dismantled.
When the Raiders move into their new headquarters next month, the road to the facility will have them feeling at home before they arrive.
