Las Vegas’ first Super Bowl lived up to the billing Sunday with a sellout crowd of 61,629 fans filling Allegiant Stadium.
“The hospitality here, you outdid it,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “I think it’s safe to say the NFL looks forward to coming back.”
Capacity for Sunday’s Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium will be just less than what can be hosted for a regular season Raiders home game.
Las Vegas’ Super Bowl is tracking to draw fans from all over the world, with ticket buyers on secondary market place StubHub coming from all 50 states and 16 countries.
