Foothill
Foothill was able to hang on for a 77-75 boys basketball victory over Timpanogos (Utah) on Saturday in the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman.
Rayshon Funches and Emmanuel Austin combined to score 22 points in the final 10 minutes as the Longhorns held on for a 68-66 win over Fairmont (California) in the Tarkanian Classic’s Eastbay Division at Faith Lutheran.
The good far outweighed the bad, though, as the Gaels pulled away for a 79-48 win over Lone Peak (Utah) in their Tarkanian Classic opener at Orleans Arena.
