Playing its eighth game in 10 days, Spring Valley had trouble boxing out on key rebounds and lost a 60-56 decision to Centennial (Arizona) in the consolation final of the Las Vegas Prep Championship at Las Vegas High.
Trinity used its size to create a substantial rebounding advantage, and earned an 80-61 win over Foothill in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Prep Championship at Las Vegas High.

Rayshon Funches and Emmanuel Austin combined to score 22 points in the final 10 minutes as the Longhorns held on for a 68-66 win over Fairmont (California) in the Tarkanian Classic’s Eastbay Division at Faith Lutheran.
The good far outweighed the bad, though, as the Gaels pulled away for a 79-48 win over Lone Peak (Utah) in their Tarkanian Classic opener at Orleans Arena.
