Julia Whiting-Reed had 18 kills, two aces, seven digs and two blocks Wednesday to lead Green Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 25-10, 25-15, 11-25, 17-25, 15-11 victory over visiting Silverado.
Aiyana Evans and had 32 assists and O’ceana Clemens added 29 assists as Liberty’s girls volleyball team earned a 16-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-20 victory over visiting Silverado on Thursday.
Sophia Dominguez had 21 kills and 16 digs Tuesday as Durango’s volleyball team handed Coronado its first Desert League loss, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23, 20-25, 17-15.
Audrey Wood had 17 kills and two aces Wednesday to lead Silverado’s girls volleyball team to a 15-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-22, 15-13 victory over visiting Sierra Vista.
Brielen Aquino had 35 assists, three aces and 15 digs as Silverado’s girls volleyball team earned a 21-25, 25-23, 17-25, 25-20, 15-13 home victory over Foothill on Monday.
Paige Birch had 10 kills, four blocks and three digs on Thursday as Del Sol’s girls volleyball team outlasted visiting Chaparral, 23-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11.
Leilani Vitale had 12 kills on Thursday to lead Sierra Vista’s girls volleyball team to a 25-23, 19-25, 27-25, 18-25, 16-14 road win over Liberty.
Simone Beane supplied 11 kills to help Spring Valley’s girls volleyball team rally from two sets down to earn a 19-25, 14-25, 25-11, 28-26, 15-8 home victory over Tech on Tuesday night.
Coronado swept Foothill, and Silverado beat Green Valley in straight sets to
