Clark County on Monday reported 1,379 new cases of COVID-19 and 22 deaths during the preceding three days as three of its four key metrics for the disease increased.

The county’s test positivity rate continued to climb from Friday through Sunday and now stands at 7 percent. Other metrics were flat to lower.
New figures posted by the Department of Health and Human Services raised the case total for the state to 67,852 and the death toll to 1,287.
New cases were above the daily average of slightly above 200 over the preceding week, while the death was below the daily average.
Clark County recorded 137 additional COVID-19 cases and five additional deaths overnight, according to data posted early Monday by the Southern Nevada Health District.
