Jasmine Richardson scored 15 points Thursday to help host Basic’s girls basketball team to a 53-34 win over Chaparral.
C’Aree Stevenson had 20 points and Legacy’s girls basketball team rallied for a 67-62 home win over Palo Verde on Tuesday.
Dejonte Allen’s put-back at the buzzer lifted Chaparral’s boys basketball team to a 61-59 victory over visiting Basic on Thursday.
Liberty’s Kayla Watanabe’s 24 kills, 13 digs and four blocks sparked Liberty’s girls volleyball team to a 19-25, 25-23, 25-27, 30-28, 15-11 win over visiting Foothill on Tuesday.
Hunter Martin singled to right-center field with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to score Trace Evans and give Basic’s baseball team a 9-8 home win over Coronado on Thursday.
