A Las Vegas judge ordered Henry Ruggs to appear in court again next week after she said the former Raiders’ wide receiver missed an alcohol test.
Though Ruggs did not attend a morning court hearing Wednesday, records show that he pleaded not guilty in the case.
Although the minimum sentence for a charge of DUI resulting in death is two years, people convicted in recent cases have received prison terms of at least six years.
Former Raiders star Henry Ruggs was released from jail and returned to his Las Vegas home, a source told the Review-Journal on Wednesday evening.
