Former UNLV quarterback Armani Rogers signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted rookie free agent Saturday to play tight end.

Palo Verde’s Daniel Bellinger, a tight end at San Diego State, was the first Las Vegas player drafted. The other was Bishop Gorman’s Jalen Nailor, a wide receiver at Michigan State.
A handful of players with Las Vegas ties are expected to be selected in the NFL draft this week at Caesars Palace.
