Josiah Cromwick’s two-run single in the fifth inning Thursday broke a scoreless tie and lifted Palo Verde’s baseball team to a 3-1 win over Northwest Christian (Arizona) in the Wolves Classic in Goodyear, Arizona.
Logan Bleazard was 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored Tuesday as Coronado’s baseball team handed visiting Silverado its first loss in Desert League play, 13-3 in five innings.

By rule, the game reverts back to the last completed inning, giving the host Skyhawks a 7-4 victory in the Bengal Kickoff Tournament.
