Savannah Blanchard-Davis had 17 points as Mojave’s girls basketball team edged host Pahrump Valley 43-41 on Thursday.
Elise Young scored a game-high 20 points to help Cimarron-Memorials girls basketball team to a 58-51 home win over Faith Lutheran in a Northwest League game on Tuesday night.
Dreuna Edwards scored 14 of her game-high 21 points in overtime to lead Libertys girls basketball team to a 62-54 victory over Valor Christian (Colorado) in the title game of the Tarkanian Classic at Durango on Saturday.
Taeha Pankey scored six of her 15 points in overtime Friday as the Legacy girls basketball team edged Juneau-Douglas (Alaska) in the Tarkanian Classic at Liberty.
Dajaah Lightfoot and Eliyjah Pricebrooks each scored 14 Thursday to boost Desert Oasis girls basketball team to a 69-53 win over Southwest DeKalb (Georgia) in the Tarkanian Classic at Durango.
Senior Essence Booker scored a game-high 28 points, and a run of 23 unanswered points catapulted the Grizzlies to a 67-42 victory over Mt. Eden (California) in the opening round of the Tarkanian Classic at Liberty High School.
