Pahranagat Valley (Class 1A), The Meadows (2A) and Boulder City (3A) claimed One Nevada Cup titles. Bishop Manogue won in 4A.
LaVerk Hodges’ 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds left gave Del Sol a 64-62 overtime win over Boulder City for the Class 3A Southern Region boys basketball championship.

Kamry Bailey had 18 kills, 12 digs and three blocks, and the Eagles cruised past the Pirates. The Meadows (2A Southern) and Pahranagat (1A Region II) also won regionals.
Sparked by individual wins from Rome Odunze and Kyu Kelly, the Gaels wrapped up their second consecutive Class 4A title by scoring 99 points.
Mason Thornock went 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI and tossed a five-hit shutout to help Lincoln County return to the Class 2A state championship game with a 10-0 win over Yerington in the winners’ bracket final at The Meadows.
Lincoln County showed plenty of focus Thursday, pounding three Incline pitchers for 12 hits, including home runs from Alex Vincent and McKinley O’Connor in a 14-7 victory over the Highlanders.

Martin ran the 100-meter dash in a personal-record time of 10.71 seconds on Saturday morning at Desert Oasis to claim the Mountain Region championship and an automatic bid in the state meet next week. The sturdy senior doubled as a running back for Legacy’s football team and said he started preparing for track season after football concluded.
Edmond ran the 100 meters in 11.84 seconds on Saturday at Desert Oasis to secure the Moutain Region championship — and an automatic bid to the Class 4A state meet next week. Teammate Aniya Smith finished second in 12.11, and Centennial’s Quincy Bonds ran 12.16 for third.
Behind a strong outing from sophomore pitcher Talon Phillips, Lincoln County took full advantage of early miscues from The Meadows to get in front and then cruised to the Class 2A Southern League baseball title with a 10-3 victory.
