Here is the 2019 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada girls volleyball team.
Tommi Stockham had 26 kills, and the Gaels claimed the Desert Region championship; Palo Verde started fast, put away Rancho in three sets for the Mountian Region crown.
The top-seeded Trail Blazers will meet No. 2 Bishop Gorman for the Desert Region championship. It’s No. 1 Palo Verde vs. No. 3 Rancho for the Mountain League crown.
Durango takes care of Foothill in three sets, while Palo Verde has its way with Arbor View. Bishop Gorman’s Stockham reaches 1,500 career kills in a win.
The Gaels, the defending Class 4A state champions, defeated Boulder City, the reigning Class 3A champ, 15-25, 25-8, 15-13 in the title match Saturday.

Faith Lutheran needed only 75 minutes to down Rancho 25-20, 25-18, 25-18 in the Class 4A Mountain Region semifinals at Eldorado.
The Wildcats (25-9) utilized those basic skills to clinch a 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 win over Cimarron-Memorial at Palo Verde in Mountain Region tournament quarterfinal play.
Kiffyn Andreasean had six kills and five aces to guide the Palo Verde’s girls volleyball team to a 25-9, 25-11, 25-3 win over the Desert Pines in their regular-season finale to complete the league schedule with a perfect record.
Jan Duhaylungsod had 30 assists, nine digs and five blocks to propel Rancho’s girls volleyball team to a 20-25, 25-18, 25-13, 21-25, 17-15 home win over Legacy on Tuesday night.
Brooklyn Stone had 32 assists, two aces and six digs to help Las Vegas High’s girls volleyball team a 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 home win over Arbor View on Wednesday.
Mojave’s Aniya Marshall had 12 kills, eight aces and four blocks Monday to lead the Rattlers to a 25-27, 25-7, 25-18, 25-17 girls volleyball victory over visiting Chaparral.
Arien Fafard had had 46 assists, 10 kills, 26 digs and four blocks on Thursday to lead the Palo Verde girls volleyball team to a 22-25, 15-25, 25-23, 25-18, 17-15 road win over Faith Lutheran.
Alysha Smith had 12 kills, 14 assists, 13 digs and five aces to lead the Shadow Ridge girls volleyball team to a 28-26, 25-11, 22-25, 25-19 home victory over Centennial on Tuesday.
