Palo Verde
The Durango Fall Classic, a 64-team event with a mix of schools from the valley and others from all over the country, will be played at four schools Friday and Saturday.
The Crusaders have dominated each of their seven opponents, outscoring them 40-1 in a perfect start that has garnered them national attention.

Kilmor Amor had 15 kills, 23 assists and 10 digs Wednesday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s boys volleyball team down Shadow Ridge, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-19 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain Region Tournament at Palo Verde.

Tai Foster had nine kills and 26 digs Monday to lead Durango’s boys volleyball team to a 23-25, 25-11, 18-25, 25-19, 15-11 road victory over Bishop Gorman.
Alysha Smith had 24 assists, 14 digs, eight kills and three aces as Shadow Ridge’s girls volleyball team held off visiting Coronado 25-18, 25-22, 16-25, 23-25, 17-15 on Tuesday.

Treven Clizbe had 21 kills, 24 digs, four blocks and three aces, including the match-clinching ace, as Arbor View’s boys volleyball team took down visiting Centennial 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 16-14 on Monday.
Chris McCoy had 15 kills and six digs Thursday to help the Sierra Vista boys volleyball team rally to beat host Rancho, 19-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-14, 16-14.
