Cooper Jarman had 29 assists and 13 digs on Monday to help Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team clinch the top seed for the Mountain Region playoffs with a 25-13, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22 win at Shadow Ridge.

Jacob Taylor had 13 kills, and Will Hafen added seven kills Thursday to help Bishop Gorman’s boys volleyball team secure the Southwest League’s No. 2 seed in the playoffs with a 25-23, 25-18, 25-17 win at Legacy.

Scott Solan had 17 kills and five blocks, and Taylor Miller added 11 kills to help Palo Verde’s boys volleyball team rally for a 26-28, 25-27, 25-22, 25-11, 15-12 win over visiting Shadow Ridge on Tuesday.
Andre Shabazz had 31 assists, 10 digs, seven kills and two aces Wednesday to help the Durango boys volleyball team to a 25-15, 17-25, 27-25, 31-29 home win over Shadow Ridge.
Tyler Gralapp had 13 kills and 11 digs Tuesday to help Silverado’s boys volleyball team rally for a 25-11, 19-25, 20-25, 30-28, 15-12 win at Eldorado.
Jacob West had four aces, including the match winner, to lead Arbor View’s boys volleyball team to a 27-25, 22-25, 22-25, 27-25, 15-11 victory over visiting Legacy on Thursday.
Las Vegas High’s Shayne Marquez might not have been the most physically imposing player on the volleyball court this past season.
