An opening invocation given at a Washoe County Commissioners meeting raised some eyebrowns when Reno Satanic founder Jason Miller said the phrase “Hail Satan” during the meeting.
The city of Henderson gave a proclamation to the Black Mountain Stake, one of the oldest LDS organizations in the city, for their 50th anniversary celebration and community service efforts.
The breach, which happened in March, was not made public until this month due to concerns from law enforcement authorities investigating the incident.
Construction on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ temple in Las Vegas began in 1985.
