The Eagles will host a 20-team field in the Boulder City Invitational, a week after ranking as the highest valley finisher in the Durango Fall Classic.
The Durango Fall Classic, a 64-team event with a mix of schools from the valley and others from all over the country, will be played at four schools Friday and Saturday.
The Gaels, the defending Class 4A state champions, defeated Boulder City, the reigning Class 3A champ, 15-25, 25-8, 15-13 in the title match Saturday.

Kawika Pagelsdorf had nine kills and 13 blocks to help Basic’s boys volleyball team to a 20-25, 25-12, 27-29, 25-20, 18-16 win over host Clark on Friday.
Adlai Rodriguez had 24 kills and 13 digs to help Rancho’s boys volleyball team to a 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 27-25 road win over Cheyenne on Thursday.
Mark Thuet had 21 kills, five aces, four blocks and 14 digs to lead Bonanza’s boys volleyball team to a 25-22, 25-27, 21-25, 26-24, 15-4 win over visiting Legacy on Wednesday.
Kierston-Joy Kuresa had nine kills, two aces and 20 digs to propel Desert Oasis’ girls volleyball team to a 25-22, 25-21, 24-26, 23-25, 15-5 home win over Liberty on Thursday night.
Emilia Mason had 20 assists and five aces Thursday to lead Spring Valley’s girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13 victory over host Canyon Springs.
Madison Martinez-Hutchinson had 16 assists and 10 digs, and Breanna Onori recorded 11 assists, eight digs and seven aces as Green Valley’s volleyball team rallied for an 18-25, 18-25, 25-11, 25-19, 15-8 home win over Legacy on Tuesday night.
