Alex Marin had 14 kills and two aces Wednesday as host Del Sol’s boys volleyball team clinched the top seed for the Class 3A Southern League tournament with a 25-21, 25-5, 25-17 win over Sunrise Mountain.

Liam Morrissey had 20 kills, 11 digs and five blocks as the Desert Oasis boys volleyball team held on for a 25-19, 25-14, 25-27, 20-25, 15-13 victory over visiting Bonanza on Tuesday.
Juan Benitez had 16 kills and 21 assists on Monday to lead Chaparral’s boys volleyball team to a 28-30, 25-13, 19-25, 25-12, 15-5 victory over visiting Boulder City.
Frank Hines had 10 kills, four aces, 11 digs and three blocks as Sierra Vista’s boys volleyball team rallied past Bonanza for a 25-21, 11-25, 20-25, 25-16, 18-16 road win Thursday night.
Justin Ahlstrom dished out 25 assists, and teammate Andrew Wyatt had 24 assists in the Shadow Ridge boys volleyball team’s 25-17,25-17, 23-25, 25-20 win over Arbor View on Tuesday night.
