This year marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of RMS Titanic. For more than 30 years, the Titanic’s untimely demise in the Atlantic Ocean has been re-enacted nightly in “Jubilee!” at Bally’s. More recently, “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition,” now at Luxor, for several years has been educating visitors about the disaster.
You probably think of Reynolds Hall at the new Smith Center for the Performing Arts as a venue for symphony concerts, Broadway shows and other highbrow performing art. But just wait until Friday, when the hall will be rocking with the sounds of Pink Floyd via “PFX: The Pink Floyd Experience.”
On Thursday, the iconic rock bank KISS expanded their global reach solidly into Las Vegas with the opening of KISS By Monster Mini Golf, an indoor amusement attraction at 4501 Paradise Road in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas’ already considerable romance quotient will rise Saturday when seven romance authors come to town for “The Romance of Words,” a reading, book signing and discussion sponsored by the Vegas Valley Book Festival at the Chapel of the Flowers.
