Coronado’s boys golf shot a two-day total of 23-over-par 599 as a team to win the Class 4A state golf tournament at Reflection Bay Golf Club on Tuesday. It was the Cougars’ first title since 2012, and Coronado players celebrated by jumping into Lake Las Vegas.
Matt Manganello carded a 2-over-par 72 at Los Prados on Wednesday to earn medalist honors in a Northeast League match.
Aidan Goldstein shot a 2-under-par 70 at Painted Desert on Tuesday to earn medalist honors and help Faith Lutheran’s boys golf team to victory in a Northwest League match.
Dylan Fritz carded a 5-under-par 67 to earn medalist honors and carry the Coronado boys golf team to team victory in a Southeast League match at Anthem on Tuesday.
Boulder City’s Kyler Atkinson shot 3-over-par 73 on Monday to lead the Eagles to the team title in a Sunrise League golf match.
Joey Dotta shot 2-over-par 62 on Tuesday to lead Coronado’s boys golf team to a victory in a Southeast League match at Desert Willow.

Palo Verde’s Jack Trent shot 3-under-par 69 in the final round and finished with a two-round total of 5-under 139 to earn his second consecutive individual state title.
Led by junior Jack Trent, the Panthers’ five scoring golfers combined to play the final nine holes in 2 over par, and Palo Verde grabbed the lead after the opening round of the Division I state tournament at Reflection Bay.
