Class 5A experienced the biggest changes during the realignment process in the offseason, but one thing remains the same: Bishop Gorman’s dominance.
Legacy rallied past Bonanza in baseball, and Silverado survived a softball slugfest against Legacy to advance to the championship round of the Class 4A state tournaments.
Bishop Gorman is the clear favorite in the Class 4A state softball tournament and will play Legacy in the winners bracket Wednesday at College of Southern Nevada.
Las Vegas edged Durango 10-7 on Friday to win the Class 4A Mountain League title and clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs.
