Coronado and Centennial both won Tuesday to secure the No. 1 seeds for their respective region softball tournament.
Sarah Aguilar pitched a shutout to lead Bishop Gorman’s softball team to a 3-0 win over Savanna (California) in the Savanna Tournament on Thursday afternoon past the Rebels.
Morgan Matsumoto drove in three runs, and Jocelyn Shupp went 3-for-4 and scored three runs to help the Foothill’s softball team to a 13-11 road win over Silverado on Thursday evening.

Amanda Sink threw a three-hitter and hit the game-winning home run with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning Tuesday as the Legacy softball team edged visiting Durango, 3-2.
Sarah Pinkston tossed a five-hitter Thursday to help Coronado stun nationally-ranked Pacifica (Calif.), 1-0, in the Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz.
