Yazmin Sevilla went 3-for-5 with a triple, four runs and three RBIs Monday to help host Sunrise Mountain’s softball team to a 23-13 win over Western in a five-inning game.
Sara Riley was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Bonanza’s softball team held on for an 8-4 road victory over Las Vegas High on Wednesday afternoon.
Sarah Aguilar pitched a shutout to lead Bishop Gorman’s softball team to a 3-0 win over Savanna (California) in the Savanna Tournament on Thursday afternoon past the Rebels.
Palo Verde’s Makena Martin was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs Wednesday as the host Panthers nipped Shadow Ridge in softball, 5-4.
Sierra Vista’s softball team scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Durango for a 6-5 home victory on Tuesday afternoon.
