Jessica Meza singled home Kiana Young in the bottom of the eighth inning Wednesday to give Liberty’s softball team a 7-6 home win over Arbor View.
Kaitlyn Suarez’s sacrifice fly to center field with no outs in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Anaiya Irick with the winning run as Rancho edged Silverado, 8-7 in the championship game of the Colorado River Invitational in Needles, California.

Angela Santillanes doubled home Sanoe Helenihi in the bottom of the seventh Monday to lift Basic’s softball team to a 7-6 home win over Rancho.
Morgan Matsumoto drove in three runs, and Jocelyn Shupp went 3-for-4 and scored three runs to help the Foothill’s softball team to a 13-11 road win over Silverado on Thursday evening.
