Here are the 2018 softball honors, as selected by the coaches.
Sadie Christian went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs, and Skylar Glaude was 2-for-4 with a double and and two RBIs to lead Foothill’s softball team to a 9-4 victory over visiting Rancho on Monday.
Alexis Geraldo went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead Durango’s softball team to a 15-0 four-inning victory over host Spring Valley on Friday.
Kylie Becker went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs on Friday to help the Foothill softball team rally for a 10-6 win at Basic.
Amanda Sink threw a three-hitter and hit the game-winning home run with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning Tuesday as the Legacy softball team edged visiting Durango, 3-2.
Sarah Penksa spun a four-hitter Tuesday to lead host Foothill’s softball team to a 3-0 win over Rancho.
Jillian James threw a five-inning no-hitter and was 4-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs to lift Coronado’s softball team to a 12-0 victory over host Basic on Thursday.
Sarah Murphy scored the winning run on an error with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday as Cimarron-Memorial’s softball team rallied past visiting Legacy, 4-3.
Ashlyn Ames’ hit off the wall with no outs in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday scored Kayla Stephens for the game’s only run as Arbor View’s softball team nipped visiting Rancho, 1-0.
