Liberty’s softball team won a pair of elimination games Friday, including an 8-4 win over Coronado in the losers’ bracket final, to advance to the championship game of the Division I Sunrise Region tournament.

Skylar Gorrell tossed a four-hitter and struck out six Tuesday as Las Vegas High’s softball team handed visiting Rancho its first loss in Division I Sunrise League play, 4-3.
Arianna Odell’s two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted Sunrise Mountain’s softball team to an 8-7 win over visiting Del Sol on Wednesday.
