Angela Santillanes doubled home Sanoe Helenihi in the bottom of the seventh Monday to lift Basic’s softball team to a 7-6 home win over Rancho.
Makena Martin hit a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to complete Palo Verde’s rally and help the Panthers’ softball team beat visiting Faith Lutheran, 5-4.
Xheneiya LaRocke smacked a two-run double in the top of the seventh inning for the go-ahead runs, and Valley’s softball team turned a 4-6-5 triple play to finish out a 15-13 win road win over Canyon Springs on Tuesday.

Ashley Ward went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Coronado’s softball team, and winning pitcher Tatum Spangler went the distance with eight strikeouts and was 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI as the host Cougars edged Basic on Wednesday, 5-4.

Skylar Gorrell tossed a four-hitter and struck out six Tuesday as Las Vegas High’s softball team handed visiting Rancho its first loss in Division I Sunrise League play, 4-3.
Sarah Murphy’s two-run double capped a three-run rally with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning and allowed Cimarron-Memorial’s softball team to escape with a 7-6 win over visiting Coronado on Tuesday.
Kaitlyn O’Hearn hit a grand slam in the sixth inning Friday to help Durango’s softball team to an 11-3 victory at Basic.
