Skylar Gorrell tossed a four-hitter and struck out six Tuesday as Las Vegas High’s softball team handed visiting Rancho its first loss in Division I Sunrise League play, 4-3.
Kali Tomlinson hit a two-run home run that keyed a five-run first inning Thursday as the Palo Verde softball team held on to defeat visiting Shadow Ridge, 5-4.
