Marisa Olmos went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Liberty’s softball team scored twice in the top of the eighth inning to rally for a 10-8 victory over host Basic on Tuesday.
Brooke Stover doubled to the left-center field gap to score Breanna Beatty with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday, and Palo Verde’s softball team rallied for a 6-5 victory over visiting Shadow Ridge.
Gizele Cascos allowed one earned run on six hits Friday and went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead Tech’s softball team to a 5-4 win over Sunrise Mountain at Anthem Hills Park.
Martinece Robertson’s two-run home run in the top of the 13th inning Monday broke a 2-2 tie and helped Spring Valley’s softball team to a 7-2 win at Durango.
Tori Ray’s two-run single in the top of the seventh inning Thursday allowed Durango’s softball team to rally for a 5-4 win at Spring Valley.
Sarah Murphy’s two-run double capped a three-run rally with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning and allowed Cimarron-Memorial’s softball team to escape with a 7-6 win over visiting Coronado on Tuesday.
Samantha Pochop tossed a no-hitter and struck out 15 on Wednesday to help Rancho’s softball team top visiting Desert Oasis, 8-0.
