Mikayla Berg was 2-for-2 with a three-run home run, and Basic’s softball team scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to get past visiting Silverado on Thursday, 11-9.

Roundup: Coronado takes down Rancho

Cierra Sawyer pitched four scoreless innings of relief on Saturday to lead Coronado’s softball team to a 7-2 road victory over Rancho.

Shelby Carvalho had a triple and three RBIs Friday to power Liberty’s softball team to a 7-6 road victory against Green Valley.

Chryshelle Abril-Ryan and Brianna Villarreal each homered for Spring Valley’s softball team Thursday as the Grizzlies rallied to beat visiting Bonanza, 8-7.

Holly Severence homered and drove in three runs Saturday to help the Desert Oasis softball team beat Silverado 14-6 in six innings in the championship game of the Colorado River Invitational in Needles, California.
