Sparked by individual wins from Rome Odunze and Kyu Kelly, the Gaels wrapped up their second consecutive Class 4A title by scoring 99 points.
Centennial ran away with its ninth straight Class 4A team championship. The Bulldogs scored 126 points. Runners-up Carson and Sierra Vista each had 54.

Martin ran the 100-meter dash in a personal-record time of 10.71 seconds on Saturday morning at Desert Oasis to claim the Mountain Region championship and an automatic bid in the state meet next week. The sturdy senior doubled as a running back for Legacy’s football team and said he started preparing for track season after football concluded.
Edmond ran the 100 meters in 11.84 seconds on Saturday at Desert Oasis to secure the Moutain Region championship — and an automatic bid to the Class 4A state meet next week. Teammate Aniya Smith finished second in 12.11, and Centennial’s Quincy Bonds ran 12.16 for third.
Jaden Delchambre singled home the eventual winning run to cap a six-run sixth inning that lifted Foothill’s softball team to a 9-8 win at Liberty on Tuesday.
The girls stole the show at the Blaine Thompson-Las Vegas Track Classic on Saturday at Desert Oasis.
Quenton Rice, Sever Stewart and Allan Davis each won two events on Wednesday to lead Faith Lutheran’s boys track team to victory in a four-team home meet.
Emily Wickens won two individual events and ran on the winning 400-meter relay team to lead Coronado’s girls track team to victory in a three-team home meet on Wednesday.
Paige Sinicki’s two-run double in the bottom of the fifth gave Coronado’s softball team the lead, and the Cougars held on for a 4-2 home win over Sierra Vista on Wednesday.
Michael Marraro was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs to help Spring Valley’s baseball team to a 9-6 home win over Clark on Wednesday.
Jaid Raval’s two-run home run with no outs in the top of the sixth inning broke an 8-8 tie and lifted Desert Oasis’ softball team to a 10-8 win at Bishop Gorman on Thursday.
Brant Hunt’s single to left field with no outs in the bottom of the eighth inning Thursday plated Chris Cortez with the winning run as Silverado edged visiting Sierra Vista, 5-4.
