Faith Lutheran scored twice in the second half to defeat Galena. Coronado avenged its only loss with win over Centennial. Eldorado, Bishop Gorman advance to boys final.
Quincy Bonds scored four goals, and the Centennial girls adavanced to the second round of the 4A state tournament. The Las Vegas boys bounced Coronado 3-0 to move on.
The Palo Verde boys defeated Coronado 10-2 to win their fourth straight title. The girls doubled up Coronado 10-5 to end the Cougars’ hopes of a third straight crown.
