A man was taken to the hospital Saturday night after he lost control of his motorcycle and slid about 200 feet in Henderson, police said.
About 8:30 p.m., the motorcyclist lost control of his bike on Horizon Ridge Parkway near the intersection with Horizon Drive, Henderson police spokeswoman Michelle French said.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was conscious and breathing when he was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, French said. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Traffic in the area is restricted while police investigate the crash, French said.
