Crash slows I-15 North near Russell

A two-vehicle crash caused temporary delays Friday evening on northbound Interstate 15, near Russell Road, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP responded at 3:57 p.m. to the crash on the collector road, a two-lane frontage road, from the southern Las Vegas Beltway to the I-15, said Trooper Loy Hixson.

Hixson said one driver was taken to University Medical Center and the other was taken to Spring Valley Hospital, both with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Both lanes of the exit road were closed until 4 p.m. while troopers moved the wreckage.
