The June 24 show will be broadcast live at 4 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network (Cox channel 38). Tickets, which range from $58 to $253, go on sale today at all MGM Resorts box offices (mgmgrand.com) and through Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com), (800) 745-3000.
The NHL Awards will honor the top regular-season performers in a plethora of categories, including most valuable player (Hart Trophy), outstanding goaltender (Vezina Trophy) and oustanding defenseman (Norris Trophy).
This is the first year the NHL Awards will take place at the MGM Grand and the sixth time the league will stage its annual awards show in Las Vegas.
Riggle, who has appeared in such movie comedies as “Step Brothers,” “The Other Guys,” and “21 Jump Street,” might be best known for playing the cop in the taser scene from “The Hangover.”
