1 hospitalized after hang glider crash in Las Vegas
One person was hospitalized Friday afternoon with critical injuries after a hang glider crash, the Las Vegas Fire Department said.
At 11:49 a.m. the department responded to a call near the north end of Jones Boulevard, in the desert, spokesman Tim Szymanski said.
A person was on foot flagging down first responders, Szymanski said. The person who crashed was lying far off the road, out of sight.
The injured person was taken to University Medical Center in a helicopter and was listed in critical condition, Szymanski said.
