2 kids riding bikes hit by cars in separate crashes
Two children riding bicycles were hit by cars in separate collisions Tuesday, according to Las Vegas police. Neither were seriously hurt.
One child was hit by an SUV near Gowan Road and Tomsik Street, just west of Cimarron Drive, at 8:04 a.m., police said. The child was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Another child was hit by a sedan just after 8:10 a.m. near the intersection of Russell Road and Topaz Street, near Cannon Junior High School, police said. The boy was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center by his brother, police said. The extent of his injuries was not known.
