An Allegiant Air flight heading to Indianapolis on Monday morning had to return to McCarran International Airport after an engine problem, an airport official said.
The plane, with more than 200 passengers on board, landed safely at 10:43 a.m. No one was injured.
Allegiant Flight 458, which took off about 10 a.m., returned to McCarran after concerns with an engine compressor were reported, airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said. The Boeing 757 had 209 people on board.
The airline will inspect the plane to ensure it’s safe before it flies again, Crews said.
