Las Vegas could warm up to 60 this weekend

Put on your shorts and T-shirts, Las Vegas. A warm-up is headed this way.

"There's at least a shot we'll see 60 over the weekend," National Weather Service meteorologist Clay Morgan said Wednesday.

High temperatures through the week will stay in the high-50s before climbing to a forecast 60 degrees Sunday.

Lows will continue to be in the high 30s to low 40s.

That's "just a hair" above normal, Morgan said, which is 58 degrees for this time of year.

Expect partly cloudy skies for the rest of the workweek. There's a small chance for rain Friday.
