Coroner IDs man who crashed into concrete pole Friday

The man who died Friday morning after his car crashed into a concrete pole in the central valley was identified Saturday by the Clark County coroner's office.

Roger Luna, 23, of Las Vegas, crashed about 5:30 a.m. Friday near Oakey and Martin Luther King boulevards.

The 1998 Toyota Corolla, which was carrying no passengers, was engulfed in flames when the fire department arrived, but firefighters were able to remove Luna from the car.

Luna was taken to University Medical Center, where he died.
