Two people injured in separate downtown Las Vegas crashes

Two separate downtown Las Vegas accidents on Friday night injured at least two people, according to Metro.

Officers were called to North Fourth Street and Ogden Avenue at 8:54 p.m., Metro Lt. Yaz Yatomi said. A taxi hit a motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist suffered a broken arm, Yatomi said.

Fourth Street, north of Ogden, was shut down.

Police also were called to West Colorado Avenue and South Main Street at 8:52 p.m., after a vehicle hit two pedestrians, Yatomi said. One pedestrian was taken to a hospital with injuries that did not appear life-threatening.
