I read that Los Angeles won’t use ocean water to put out fires because the salt will harm the equipment. Interestingly, Canada is scooping ocean water to help fight raging fires. It seems that Canada is more interested in saving lives and property than in saving equipment. It makes me wonder where the priorities are.
