Les Kincaid, host of the radio wine show “Wines Du Jour,” plans to host a class on refreshing summertime soups from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 15 at Ferguson Enterprises, 4175 S. Grand Canyon Drive. The cost is $49.

JOE’S SEAFOOD DINNER TO BENEFIT PEDIATRIC BRAIN TUMOR FOUNDATION

Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, 3500 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host a dinner July 19 to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, a nonprofit that works to find a cure for childhood brain tumors.

The evening is set to begin with cocktails and a silent auction at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $140 per person. Seating is limited to 80 guests.

TASTE & LEARN SERIES TO CONTINUE AT FERRARO’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT

GILLEY’S PLANS HOT WING CHALLENGE

Gilley’s Saloon, Bar-b-que and Dance Hall at Treasure Island, 3300 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to celebrate National Chicken Wing Day July 29 with the Cowboys from Hell Wing Challenge. Patrons will be challenged to finish 12 hot wings in four minutes. The winner will get a picture on the Wall of Fame and a 40-ounce Gilley’s Beer Boot. Those who fail will have their picture on the Wall of Shame.

Fall Restaurant Week is scheduled from Aug. 22-28 to benefit Three Square food bank. Participating restaurants plan to offer prix fixe menus priced $20.14 to $50.14, with a portion of the proceeds going to the food bank.

BELLAGIO ANNOUNCES CULINARY CLASSROOM SCHEDULE FOR 2014

The Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom at the Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has announced its schedule for 2014. The educational series includes interactive cooking classes led by executive chef Edmund Wong and his team. Each two-hour class is held in Tuscany Kitchen, a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen. Each class has a seasonal theme and features a menu created with fresh ingredients.

The schedule is: What to Eat First? The Chicken or the Egg, Aug. 27; Farm to Table, Sept. 24; Cooking with Chocolate, Oct. 1 and Harvesting Thanksgiving, Nov. 19.

SILVER SEVENS ANNOUNCES JULY DINING SPECIALS

The Silver Sevens, 4100 Paradise Road, plans to offer a T-bone buffet from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through July for $14.99 with an A-Play club Card and $17.99 without a card.

A seafood buffet is planned from 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays through July for $17.99 with a card and $24.99 without a card.

Through July, club members also can enjoy a barbecue-inspired dining experience for $9.99 that includes half rack of baby back ribs, half of a barbecue chicken and french fries.

The Sterling Spoon Cafe plans to serve $5.99 specials throughout July, including a half-pound burger with endless fries or all-you-can-eat spaghetti and meatballs. Lunch specials are planned for $6.99, including guacamole chicken wrap, Cobb salad and crab melt.

The third annual Downtown Brew Festival is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. Motley Brews plans to offer more than 150 craft beers, gourmet culinary elements and musical entertainment.

A VIP experience is planned with celebrity chefs. Early entry will be available at 5 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.

T-BONES CHOPHOUSE PLANS NICKEL & NICKEL WINE DINNER SEPT. 25

T-Bones Chophouse & Lounge at Red Rock Resort, 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., plans to host a wine dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 featuring Napa Valley’s Nickel & Nickel winery.
