Eric Weinmann’s Saturday letter to the editor had an unintended humorous aspect to it. In praising officials at the airport for avoiding entanglement in politics, he mentions the experience of arriving at Harry Reid International Airport. The name itself conjures up visions of partisan politics. Harry Reid was an ardent partisan. Avoiding politics at the airport might have started with naming the airport Las Vegas International.
