Pedestrian suffers life-threatening injuries after crash near Reid airport

Police investigated a crash Friday morning on the northbound Interstate 15 at Spring Mountain Road in which a pedestrian was killed.

Troopers responded to the crash site just before 8:35 a.m., according to a Nevada Highway Patrol news release. The crash involved a Chevrolet work truck and a male pedestrian, troopers said.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The pedestrian’s name was not released.
