War Machine extradited, booked in Clark County Detention Center

Mixed martial artist War Machine was booked in the Clark County Detention Center early Saturday morning, booking logs show.

The former Bellator MMA and Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter, also known as Jonathan Paul Koppenhaver, was arrested with no further incident in a Simi Valley, Calif., hotel on Aug. 15.

The arrest followed a one-week search following the beating of his porn star ex-girlfriend Christy Mack on Aug. 8, police said.

Mack was hospitalized and through a statement on Twitter said that she suffered 18 broken bones around her eye, a broken nose, missing teeth, a ruptured liver and a broken leg.

He was extradited to Las Vegas early Saturday.

War Machine, 32, is facing multiple battery, assault and coercion charges, records show. He is expected to appear in court at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
