Police seek help in ID’ing man linked to March robbery

Las Vegas police asked for the public’s help Monday identifying a man they believe robbed a west valley store in March.

On March 17, 2014, a man robbed a business near the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Durango Drive at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Police released a surveillance image on Monday showing a man described as Hispanic with a very heavy build. He was last seen wearing a long, white T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.

A man took merchandise from the business and concealed it on himself. When approached about the theft, the man pushed his way out the door, drew a gun from his waistband and fled with the merchandise, police said.

Anyone with information can call Metro’s robbery section at 702-828-3591. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com. Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may result in a cash reward.
