Police ask for help identifying shooter at Pahrump wedding reception

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding the person responsible for a weekend shooting at a Pahrump wedding reception.

Officers responded about 10:30 p.m. Saturday to the northwest part of Pahrump, where two people had been shot. One man was shot in the leg and the other in the face, the sheriff’s office said. Both were described as responsive and were taken to a medical facility.

Police have not identified a suspect and have asked that anyone with information about this incident contact the sheriff’s office at 775-751-7000.
