World Autism Awareness Day gets attention at the Venetian — PHOTOS

Saturday was World Autism Awareness Day, and evening events at The Venetian cast light and attention on the cause.

A balloon release — all blue to match the color theme of the event — took place at 7 p.m., with The Venetian’s sign as a backdrop, also lighted in blue for the day.

The event was organized by Grant a Gift Autism Foundation.
