Matthew Conley, an Army sergeant, has returned from being deployed overseas at a forward operating base serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Conley is a chemical operations specialist and squad leader assigned to the Fourth Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He has served in the military for five years.
